Defence AI Solutions Architect

This is a key position in our organisation, requiring a seasoned professional to lead the development of AI solutions in the defence and security sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the development of our solutions in this critical area, working closely with customers, federal agencies and partners to understand their needs and translate them into project plans.

  • Lead from the top to shape the development of our AI solutions in defence and security.
  • Work closely with customers, federal agencies and partners to understand their needs and translate them into project plans.
  • Engage with multiple internal and external teams to prioritise deliverables and apply product safety and security requirements successfully.
  • Mitigate and control project and financial risks in a timely and sensitive manner.
  • Determine headcount and skill matrix for specific and general program execution tasks and support recruitment activities.
  • Create and apply the business development and relationship strategy for the defence and security sector.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record as a solutions architect in the defence, military, law enforcement sector or related professional service industries.
  • At least 4 years of working experience in managing interdisciplinary teams within organisational wide digital transformations programs.
  • Proven ability in the management of complex and large-scale defence and security programs, including planning, execution and monitoring.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in responsible and robust application of AI solutions.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing AI development and deployment in defence.
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencing decision-making skills.
