Job Title: Chief Financial Strategist

About the Role:
You will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in financial planning and analysis. Your primary objective will be to develop and implement strategic goals that drive financial efficiency and compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and implementation of functional goals for the plant
- Supervise general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accurate maintenance of accounts and monthly reconciliations
- Classify items and prepare reports in compliance with GAAP standards
- Maintain SOX compliance and update documentation as necessary
- Manage indirect taxes, including Central Excise, Sales Tax, VAT, and ensure compliance
- Monitor and control functional costs at the plant, identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities in consultation with the Operations Head
- Implement cost management systems and techniques to monitor overheads effectively and achieve maximum cost control in operations
- Calculate and release the Standard Cost of products annually
- Exercise control over Capex/RCE raised at the Plant and oversee its capitalization
- Ensure accurate and timely release of Management Information System (MIS) reports
