At Careers@Gov, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Assets Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and management of electric and cleaner energy buses, as well as bus onboard equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for the procurement of electric and cleaner energy buses, ensuring compliance with operational needs and budget requirements.
  • Manage the tender process, including evaluation and award of contracts, and conduct pre-delivery inspections and testing for bus onboard equipment.
  • Coordinate with other divisions to ensure seamless integration of key systems and technologies onto the bus platform.
  • Conduct market scanning of bus technology developments and trends to recommend new bus design specifications that meet public transport needs.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Engineering qualification, preferably in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on hybrid or electric vehicles.
  • Experience in project management, including managing contractors and vendors.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, planning, execution, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
