Job Overview

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in portfolio management, working with a global asset manager and operator. You will be exposed to real-life tasks relating to fund management activities, with cross-department learning and interaction where feasible.

About the Role

This role sits within one of two platforms: (i) Fund Management and (ii) Investment. The Fund Management platform focuses on raising capital and forging stronger relationships with investors. The Investment platform aims to drive capital deployment decisions and horizontal integration to create value for our investors. Together, we aim to create value and deliver sustainable returns for our investors through a range of products including listed REITs and business trusts and private funds which invest globally into real estate, infrastructure, data centres and alternative asset classes.

You will be responsible for assisting in preparing reporting materials, compiling and analysing portfolio related metrics, and exposure to supporting asset management or investment related tasks where relevant.

Learning Outcomes

As an intern, you will have opportunities to meet with institutional investors to understand their requirements and challenges. You will also gain exposure to real-life tasks relating to fund management activities, with cross-department learning and interaction where feasible.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter, motivated to learn, and quick to grasp concepts. You should also have good skills in Microsoft Word, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
