Network and Alliance Strategist

This is a 6-month contract position.
Job Description:The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing our shipping network and strengthening alliances with partners. This includes driving cost efficiency, monitoring profitability, and ensuring robust partner engagement to support business growth. The manager will lead monthly network and cost reviews, oversee market and competitor analysis, and evaluate new service opportunities through feasibility studies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team within the Global Network and Alliance function. This includes recruitment, training, and performance reviews. Additionally, they will maintain relationships with partners through visits, negotiations, and identifying growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth and revenue targets. They should have at least 10 years of experience in the container shipping industry, with a focus on business development. A Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field is required.
Responsibilities:- Monthly review of the current network in terms of fixed costs and profitability.
- Weekly meetings with the GNA team to track and resolve partner-related issues.
- Maintain relationships with partners through visits, negotiations, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Monitor competitor services, rotations, and capacity movements.
- Engage with Heads of Asian countries to assess their space and coverage needs.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new service launches.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the container shipping industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
