Cloud Security Architect Position

We are seeking a seasoned cloud security architect to spearhead the development and optimization of our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This key position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our cloud-based systems.

About this Role
  • Critical Infrastructure Design and Maintenance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain a robust three-tier network architecture (web, application, and database layers), incorporating CDN, firewalls, load balancers, and system log collection tools.
  • Microsoft Azure Resource Management: Oversee VM provisioning, auto-scaling, OS patching, backup, and capacity monitoring to ensure seamless operations.
  • Azure Monitoring Tools Configuration: Configure and maintain Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to provide real-time visibility into system performance.
  • Alerting Mechanisms Establishment: Develop and implement alerting mechanisms for resource utilization and application performance issues to ensure prompt action is taken.
Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Development: Drive the development of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
  • Security Architecture: Design and implement robust security architectures to protect against potential threats.
  • Azure Administration: Administer and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Network Infrastructure Experience: Proven experience managing basic network infrastructure including firewalls, CDNs, and load balancers.
  • Virtual Machine and Scaling Experience: Hands-on experience with virtual machines, Azure monitoring tools, and system scaling.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Strong cybersecurity knowledge with direct experience conducting VAPT and secure code reviews.
  • Application Deployment Pipelines Familiarity: Familiarity with application deployment pipelines and configuration management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or CompTIA Security+.
  • Security Tool Experience: Experience with tools like Nessus, Burp Suite, SonarQube, or similar.
  • DevOps Background: Background in DevOps practices.
