CT Technologist Leader
Job Description:
This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing daily operations and supervising modality. The CT Technologist Leader must provide leadership relative to the assigned area, requiring 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions. This role promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and supervise modality daily operations.
- Provide leadership relative to the assigned area.
- Promote and advocate imaging services.
- Ensure accreditations standards are maintained.
Qualifications:
This position requires a Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program. Registration as a Radiological Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certification in computed tomography (CT) are also necessary. Additionally, candidates should have 3 years of technical experience and be BLS certified.
Additional Requirements:
- Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in leadership of personnel.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
