Radiography Associate Job Summary
Our organization is seeking a dedicated Radiography Associate to oversee the maintenance and stock check of x-ray accessories, x-ray processors, audio-visual equipment, inventory of x-ray films, operating supplies, and radiological supplies.
The ideal candidate will ensure the storage of all departments' operating supplies complies with IQEHS and JCI standards.
This role involves maintaining inventory of the department's computers, updating daily physical stocks of films, contrast media, catheters, guide-wires, and intervention radiological supplies.
The successful candidate will record types and quantities of contrast media distributed, top up/issue operating supplies to procedure rooms, perform weekly stock-take, receive and verify operating supplies, and safe-keep stores.
In addition, this role includes assisting the Principal Radiographer in six monthly checks for Lead-aprons, ensuring the working of Audio-Visual equipment, motorized x-ray film viewers/mammography multi-film viewers, and CD burner for x-ray image duplication.
The appointed assistant fire warden will be responsible for checking fire-fighting equipment and fire exit doors, collecting and issuing TLD badges (Radiation Dose Meter).
Key requirements for this position include a Diploma, basic computer knowledge, empathy and care towards patients, responsibility, and ability to perform rotating shifts.
