Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated IT professional to join our technical team at INTERNET HARBOR (SG) PTE. LTD. As an Operations & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support for our server infrastructure.

This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining server hardware, performing basic setup and configuration of network switches, monitoring and maintaining Linux-based systems and server environments, assisting in data center operations, cabling, racking, and inventory documentation.

Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of Linux system administration is essential, with experience in CentOS/Ubuntu/RHEL preferred.
  • Familiarity with server hardware architecture is required, including Dell, Huawei, and Supermicro.
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles is necessary, including VLANs, IP addressing, and switch setup.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like SSH, rsync, systemd, or basic scripting is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) to coordinate with Chinese-speaking engineering teams and vendors.
