Heat Treatment Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Heat Treatment Specialist to fill this critical role. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in heat treatment processes and be able to troubleshoot issues with vacuum carburize, gas nitride, atmospheric, and vacuum heat treatment equipment.

About the Role:

  • Setup, operate, and maintain heat treatment equipment and processes.
  • Perform accurate inspection checks using measuring equipment, gages, and fixtures.
  • Enter information on quality documents accurately and timely.
  • Maintain active certified machinist status.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workplace.
  • Work in an orderly fashion, keeping work areas, benches, and machinery clean and tidy.

Requirements:

  • NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years related experience in heat treatment processes.
  • Able to tolerate high temperature work environment.
