Serving as a senior manager for a global payment solutions team, you will be part of a group that facilitates cross-border payments. The team consists of nearly 10,000 colleagues across 58 countries and territories, with dedicated support in-country and regionally.
The role involves governance, risk management, and control activities across the organization. You will facilitate risk management discussions at key committees, report and communicate risk and control trends, issues, emerging risks, and initiatives. You will also own specific governance activities related to non-financial risks.
As a risk management subject matter expert, you will be the primary point person for non-financial risk and risk management queries, especially those related to products and services. You will manage the execution of risk and control activities across the organization, increasing awareness of risk and control.
You will facilitate the execution of the three lines of defense model by ensuring audits are planned, executed, and reported effectively. You will work across functions where appropriate, read across issues across the region to proactively mitigate risk based on control weaknesses or incidents in other sites.
You will escalate issues and incidents in line with escalation criteria, track incidents to closure, and proactively work with functional partners to identify and remediate root causes. You will work with teams globally, regionally, and locally to proactively raise risk and control issues through management self-identified issues and track through to closure.
