Executive Director Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive our organization forward. The ideal candidate will be a team builder and collaborator with a strong sense of stewardship.

As Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing our day-to-day operations. You will work closely with our board to craft organisational goals and develop strategies to fulfill our mission and vision.

  • Organisational Management
    • Craft organisational goals and develop strategies to fulfill the mission and vision.
  • Operational Management
    • Lead and manage team on day-to-day operations.
    • Work together with volunteers towards impactful programme outcome.
    • Accountable for operational and fiscal integrity.
    • Ensure proper governance systems and practices.
  • Resource Development
    • Raise Funds, explore and develop initiatives that are self-sustaining.
    • Establish and build relationships with strategic partners in business, government and non-profit sectors.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Senior management and leadership experience, preferably in the social space sector; with a proven track record in working with both internal and external stakeholders.

Previous fundraising experience and strong donor relations skills would be useful.

Experience working with Boards, armed with knowledge of governance/compliance regulations.

Experience working with NGOs or non-profits in serving refugees and displaced persons would be an advantage.

Strong written and oral communication skills.
