Job Title:

Estimator & Procurement Executive (IFM Projects)

Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator & Procurement Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations for IFM works based on the Schedule of Rates (SOR) and project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Quotations: Review project requirements, tender documents, and SOR to prepare quotations that meet client expectations.
  • Measurement and Pricing: Measure quantities and apply correct unit rates for pricing to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration with Project Managers: Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure costings align with technical scope and project timelines.
  • Cost Breakdowns: Prepare cost breakdowns for management approval and update costing database for recurring IFM works.

Procurement Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and Evaluation: Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors for parts, materials, and subcontracted services to ensure best value.
  • Quotation Comparison: Request and compare quotations to ensure the best possible prices and delivery schedules.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve optimal results.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company procurement policy and project timelines.

General Responsibilities

  • Liaison with Operations Teams: Liaise with operations teams to ensure material availability for ongoing works and support project cost control and budgeting activities.
  • Procurement Reports: Prepare procurement reports and documentation for audit/compliance purposes.
