Job Description:

The Manager, FCSO Controls role is responsible for investigating risk events/cases escalated by Financial Crime Surveillance Unit (FCSO-AA) teams.

  • To investigate risk events/cases escalated by Financial Crime Surveillance Unit (FCSO-AA) teams;">
  • Providing guidance and training to Case Investigation Specialists and relevant value chain stakeholders;">
  • Monitoring relevant metrics and lead requisite actions to intervene, where required;">
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders including but not limited to Business Units, FCC and like;">
  • Securing credible audit/review outcome for the unit;">
  • Ensuring timely reporting and escalation of significant risk issues to management;">
  • Supporting initiatives to enhance relevant work processes for both effectiveness and efficiency purposes;">

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Compliance professional with 4+ years of experience with specific focus on FCC (AML/CFT, Sanctions and ABC), particularly in case investigation;">
  • Be well-versed in the understanding of the MAS Notice 626, and other like guidance/circulars;">
  • Professional certification such as ACAMS and ICA Diploma is preferred but not a must;">
  • Regulatory engagement with local regulators;">
  • Good judgment enabling the provision of sound advice in difficult areas of regulation and practice and the proactive management of compliance and regulatory risk;">
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity;">
  • Sound judgement on business practices, regulatory relationship management and reputational risk;">
  • Be able to operate independently and demonstrate robustness in ethics and resilience;">
