Senior Technology Strategist Position

Evaluate current system architectures and technology stacks for alignment with business objectives, technical requirements, and regulatory policies.

  • Plan, explore, recommend, and implement technology refreshes and End-of-Service (EOS) product replacements.
  • Establish technical standards, best practices, and guidelines for software development.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of products and technologies, including making informed recommendations.
  • Review existing architecture documentation to ensure accuracy and currency. If necessary, develop and maintain up-to-date system architecture documentation.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and training as required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze project and architectural requirements.
  • Monitor system performance and scalability, providing recommendations for enhancements as needed.
  • Develop high-level system architectures for new systems and recommend implementation approaches that align with the organization's goals and Enterprise Architect (EA).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Software Architecture or equivalent role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or recognition of architectural competency are beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Track record of designing and implementing large-scale systems.
  • Experience with on-premises, cloud, or hybrid architectures is desirable.

Key Responsibilities and Objectives:

As a Senior Technology Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's technological direction, ensuring seamless integration with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include evaluating current system architectures, leading technology refreshes, establishing technical standards, conducting product evaluations, reviewing architecture documentation, promoting knowledge sharing, collaborating with stakeholders, monitoring system performance, and developing high-level system architectures for new systems.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience in software architecture or a related field, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant certifications, strong understanding of software architecture principles, track record of designing and implementing large-scale systems, and experience with on-premises, cloud, or hybrid architectures are highly desirable.
