Job Description

Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Backend Engineer. This individual will be responsible for developing and enhancing existing applications related to WINK+, as well as troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is highly valued.

The successful candidate will also possess strong proficiency in Kotlin and other backend development languages, familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.), and experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience with containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes. The ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and develop existing applications relating to WINK+
  • Translate functional requirements from users into sound technical designs that meet the objectives
  • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
  • Able to work both independently and with a team on multiple projects

The following qualifications are required:

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack development
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience working with Cloud Native Infrastructure (familiarity with AWS is a plus)
