Job Title

Physics and Engineering Department Head Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to lead our Physics and Engineering department.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching Physics and Engineering, with a proven track record of inspiring students to love these subjects.
  • They will be able to participate in the planning, development, and teaching of an integrated curriculum, and contribute to the school's research initiatives.
  • Able to provide mentorship and guidance to students on research projects, and support the growth and development of the department.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics or Engineering is essential.
  • Possess a relevant professional teaching qualification or Post-Graduate Diploma Education equivalent is advantageous.
  • Competent in teaching Physics at GCE O-Level content or GCE A-Level H2 content.
  • Knowledge in Astronomy and ability to support Astronomy CCA is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Department to drive the development of the Physics & Engineering curriculum.
  • Contribute to research initiatives and guide students on research projects.

About the Role
