Teaching Opportunity in Physical Education

We are seeking an experienced and passionate PE teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education and the ability to develop engaging lesson plans for students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver high-quality lessons that promote physical skills, fitness, and teamwork abilities in students.
  • Curriculum Planning: Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum aligned with educational goals and objectives.
  • Student Assessment and Feedback: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to improve their physical performance and overall well-being.
  • Extra-Curricular Activities: Lead and support sports clubs, teams, and events outside regular lessons, promoting participation and inclusivity.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain equipment, ensure safe use, and adhere to health and safety guidelines to safeguard students during lessons and activities.
  • Competitions and Events: Organise and oversee inter-house and inter-school competitions, fostering a competitive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with other teachers, coaches, and staff to ensure cohesive student development and well-being.
  • Pastoral Care: Contribute to students' pastoral care, supporting their personal development and resilience through sports.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on current trends in physical education and sports coaching, attending relevant training to enhance skills and knowledge.
