About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team at Careers@Gov as a Strategy Officer. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement short-term and mid-term strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement business strategies that drive positive change and impact
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities that impact the social service sector
  • Design and develop strategy implementation plans that engage stakeholders and promote alignment with our organization's goals
  • Develop and implement sector forward strategies that guide the sector towards improved quality of life for service users
  • Conduct strategic foresight research and analysis to ensure our organization and sector are well-positioned to meet future challenges
  • Conduct policy and legal reviews to ensure compliance and alignment with applicable laws and regulations


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in strategic planning or foresight positions
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and conceptual thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders of different seniority
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Methodical, organized, and proactive approach to work


Salary Range


$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
