Project Cost Estimator

Job Expert Pte Ltd. is seeking a skilled Project Cost Estimator to join our team at Job Expert Pte Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and understand drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project planning and execution.
  • Prepare documents for quotation calls and compare costs to secure the best value for the project.
  • Source, liaise, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best prices and services.
  • Handle quantity measurement, cost estimation, budget control, and take-offs to ensure accurate project costing.
  • Prepare variation orders, progress claims, final accounts, and subcontractor payments in accordance with contract requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Building or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a civil engineering construction firm (for QS level).
  • Familiarity with industry standards including PSSCOC, LTA SDRE, and other relevant agency standards.
  • Solid understanding of professional practice, contract administration, and technical terms.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and variation management.
  • Excellent time management with attention to detail, able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage assigned tasks.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive team player with a meticulous work ethic.
