Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bakery Team Member to join our team at ALICE BOULANGERIE PTE. LTD. as a Pastry Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Pastry Chef and supporting the Sous Chef/Jr Sous Chef in the preparation of all baked goods, French pastries, and other baked items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare all baked goods, French pastries, and other baked items according to standard operating procedures (SOP) to achieve consistency of food execution and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Pack and store raw materials and finished goods, and ensure that the work station is clean and meets the NEA hygiene standards at all times.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and ensure that the kitchen area is clean and clear, and that all kitchen equipment and tools are well-maintained after use.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Practice food safety and hygiene procedures at all times, and ensure that food is stored in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Skills: Passionate about providing efficient and friendly service standards, outgoing personality, highly motivated, and able to take initiative.
  • Certifications: Preferably hold a recognized Basic Food Hygienic certification.
  • Availability: Able to work weekends and public holidays.
