About the Role:
The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in tasks related to food preparation and processing, ensuring safe and timely delivery of food products. This includes following menu specifications and daily requirements, as well as maintaining food, health, and work safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure food products are prepared according to menu specifications and daily requirements.
- Follow and maintain food, health, and work safety standards, including FIFO, HACCP, and guidelines at all times.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and perform daily general cleaning in a timely and orderly manner.

Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist with food delivery to patient wards when needed during downtime.
- Report any discrepancies or irregularities to supervisors.
- Perform other duties assigned by managers and head chefs.

Requirements:
- Minimum primary school education with 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Basic Food Hygiene certification required.
- Recognized Culinary Certificate an advantage.
- Comfortable handling large-scale cooking operations and production.
- Able to recognize basic food ingredients, utensils, cookery, and kitchen tools.
- Self-disciplined, willing to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to house rules and regulations.
- Able to write, speak, and read simple English. Fluency in a second language an advantage.
- Team player with good communication and interactive skills, able to acknowledge information independently.
