Job Title: Director – Enterprise Risk Management (2nd Line of Defense)

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director to serve as the regional lead for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) in APAC, operating within the Second Line of Defense (2LoD). This role is responsible for executing and overseeing the regional implementation of ERM frameworks, policies, and programs.

  • Lead the execution of ERM programs in the region, including risk appetite monitoring, emerging risk oversight, and enterprise risk assessments aligned with internal frameworks and regional regulations.
  • Provide independent oversight and challenge of 1LoD risk activities—including risk identification, RCSAs, and control design—ensuring consistency with Tradeweb's ERM standards and appetite.
  • Conduct and oversee region-specific regulatory enterprise risk assessments, including MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) and operational resilience requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead ERM practices across a complex and diverse regulatory region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in embedding enterprise risk thinking within the business and driving the continued development of a globally consistent but locally relevant ERM capability.

  • Serve as the primary ERM point of contact in APAC, representing the Risk 2LoD in local regulatory meetings, governance forums, and regional leadership discussions.
  • Collaborate with regional 1LoD and 2LoD functions (e.g., Compliance, Operational Risk, Cyber) to coordinate risk oversight and support integrated control frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise or operational risk management within financial services or FinTech, with regional exposure across APAC.
  • Strong understanding of 2LoD responsibilities, risk governance, and risk oversight principles.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to operational resilience, technology risk, and enterprise risk governance in APAC.
