Senior Cloud Data Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Data Architect to develop and maintain scalable cloud-based data architectures within the banking industry.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale cloud data architectures using Azure services, ensuring compliance with data-related policies and standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data solutions using Databricks, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data lakes, while analyzing system integration challenges and collaborating with data engineers and IT teams to address technical issues and support infrastructure needs.
  • Implement data security and privacy protection measures, and develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database implementation.
  • Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure data solutions comply with banking regulations.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Azure platform, Databricks, and industry best practices.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have extensive experience with Azure services, proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions using Databricks, and a strong understanding of banking regulations.

  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in data architecture and management, preferably within a cloud environment.
