About the Role

The Cancer Care Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the overall well-being and improved quality of life for cancer patients at Ain Society.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Assist in the coordination of administrative duties to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Client Intake and Documentation: Gather and document essential information and documentation from clients and their families to facilitate financial assistance and support.
  • Case Management: Document case recordings accurately to track support provided to clients.
  • Patient Advocacy: Assist in advocating for the needs of cancer patients and creating awareness about their requirements.
  • Regular Check-ins and Home Visits: Conduct regular check-ins and home visits to provide necessary support to clients, as instructed by the Cancer Navigator.
  • Program and Support Group Logistics: Assist in the preparation and coordination of programs and support groups for cancer patients.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: A diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Service, or Community Health is required. Part-time undergraduates or individuals with relevant working experience looking to transition into a new career are also encouraged to apply.
  • Clinical Experience: Open to working with clients of various age groups, including children, adolescents, young adults, middle adults, and older adults.
Additional Requirements:
  • Logistical Support: Ability to assist in executing logistical duties for in-house and external programs.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work on weekends as required by the supervisor for outings with clients, support group sessions, and outreach programs.
  • Travel: Ability to travel for home visits as needed.
