Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team. This is a challenging role where you will be responsible for managing daily production operations, optimizing machine performance and leading a team to meet operational schedules.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving process improvements, reducing waste and increasing productivity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing 6S standards to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Managing consumable spending, delivery metrics and risk assessment to ensure business efficiency.
  • Participating in Lean/Kaizen initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conducting routine meetings with the production team to discuss progress and goals.
  • Maintaining a motivated and disciplined workforce through effective leadership and communication.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production/quality issues.
  • Identifying opportunities for production efficiency improvement and implementing changes.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in machining operations within a manufacturing industry.
  • The ability to work in rotating shifts if required.
