Credit Collection Specialist Role

Our team seeks an experienced Credit Collection Specialist to join our financial operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely revenue recognition and maintaining robust credit control practices.

  • Meet monthly and annual collection targets to guarantee timely revenue realization.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills when engaging with customers via email or phone to discuss overdue debts, negotiate repayment terms, and resolve billing disputes in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, service support, and other related functions to maintain efficient credit control processes.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date client profiles, payment records, and risk assessments to drive informed decision-making.
  • Liaise with solicitors on legal matters related to debt recovery.

Key Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Credit Control/Accounts Receivable function.
  • Diploma in Accountancy or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Accounting knowledge and experience with Client Relationship Management Systems are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
  • Meticulous and mature individual with a positive working attitude.
