Job Description

As a seasoned debt recovery specialist, you will be responsible for managing and controlling the collection process for assigned portfolios of delinquent accounts. This involves liaising with legal counsels, financial consultants, and other professionals to ensure timely payments from accounts under your supervision.

  • Develop and implement effective recovery strategies for major delinquent accounts, including loan restructuring and write-offs.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections of financed assets to assess their condition and value.
  • Prepare statements of accounts and reminder letters to prompt payment from overdue accounts.
  • Stay up-to-date with legal, bankruptcy, and repossession processes to inform your decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum degree holder in business, finance, or accounting discipline.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in SME loan recovery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Class 3 driving license.
