Job Title: Database Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Engineer to join our team at A-IT Software Services Pte Ltd. As a key member of our Technology and Operations function, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our database infrastructure to support our physical and digital banking services and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement database solutions using Oracle, SQL Server, and MariaDB
  • Develop and maintain database security policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices
  • Participate in technical discussions to share ideas and provide feedback on improving our database infrastructure
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration and engineering
  • Strong understanding of database architecture and design
  • Proven skills in setting up HA/DR solutions for Oracle and SQL Server
  • Experience with operating systems like Windows and Unix
  • Strong experience in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
Added Advantage:
  • Knowledge and experience in MariaDB is an added advantage
  • Experience and knowledge in PowerShell/Shell scripting is a plus
  • Experience and knowledge in server virtualization is a plus
  • Cloud knowledge is preferred
