Cloud Security Pioneer

The Cloud Security Pioneer will lead the development, implementation and management of cloud security solutions to safeguard data and infrastructure. This role entails collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure cloud environments while addressing emerging security challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Cloud Security Strategies: Provide leadership and direction to the cloud security team, aligning efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Promote Security Best Practices and Foster a Culture of Security Awareness: Across the organization.
  • Design Secure Cloud Architectures and Solutions: Evaluating and recommending security tools and technologies to enhance cloud security.
  • Develop IAM Strategies to Ensure Secure and Compliant Access to Cloud Resources:
  • Implement and Enforce IAM Policies, Procedures and Controls for Managing Identities, Roles and Permissions:
  • Establish Cloud Security Policies and Procedures: Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct Regular Security Audits and Risk Assessments: To identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Lead Incident Response Efforts: For cloud security incidents.
  • Analyze Security Logs and Alerts: To detect and respond to threats.
  • Prepare and Present Security Metrics and Reports: To senior management.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud security, with expertise in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform, and 2+ years in a lead position.
  • A strong understanding of cloud security and infrastructure architectures.
  • Relevant certifications, such as OSCP, CISSP or AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
  • Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and services.
  • Proficient in security technologies, including IAM, encryption, SIEM, IDS/IPS and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
