Senior Site Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee electrical installation activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and leading a team of electricians, technicians, and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently. They will also possess a deep understanding of electrical installation processes and safety protocols.

  • Supervising and coordinating electrical installation activities on-site
  • Maintaining accurate site records and documenting inspections, testing, and commissioning
  • Leading and managing a team of electricians, technicians, and subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and local safety standards
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Supervision & Coordination - Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on-site. Ensure that work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. Liaise with project managers, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  2. Site Management - Monitor progress of electrical works to ensure timely completion. Conduct daily site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards. Coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts and delays.
  3. Team Leadership - Lead and manage a team of electricians, technicians, and subcontractors. Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site issues. Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings.
  4. Health & Safety - Enforce site safety procedures and ensure compliance with local safety standards. Carry out risk assessments and implement control measures. Report and investigate any incidents or near misses.
  5. Documentation & Reporting - Maintain accurate site records including daily progress reports, material logs, and inspection reports. Ensure documentation for inspections, testing, and commissioning is complete.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations, excellent leadership and communication skills, and experience working with electrical installation activities on-site. They should be able to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain accurate records.
