Job Opportunity

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion.

This role involves reviewing project requirements, developing execution plans, allocating resources, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards. They must also demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Experience in managing EPC projects for chemical process plants is highly valued.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Reviewing project requirements and contractor specifications.
  • Developing and implementing project execution plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Providing on-site engineering services between contractors and internal project teams.
  • Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, including project management, discipline engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Bachelor of Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in a mechanical engineering discipline of EPC of chemical process plant.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing projects from detail engineering to commissioning, start-up, and completion hand-over.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, time-management, and analytical skills.
