Moulding Operations Manager

Job Summary:

  • This role involves overseeing daily injection moulding operations to meet production schedules for automotive components.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple moulding lines.
  • Key responsibilities include allocating manpower, ensuring productivity targets are met, and optimizing machine settings for improved product consistency.

Quality Assurance:

  • The successful candidate must ensure all parts produced meet automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
  • Closely working with Quality Assurance is essential for in-process checks and non-conformance issues.
  • Root cause analysis and corrective actions will be required for any quality deviations or customer complaints.

Moulding Process Optimization:

  • This role requires overseeing mould changeovers, machine start-up, shutdown, and parameter settings.
  • The ideal candidate will optimize machine settings to improve product consistency and reduce scrap.
  • Troubleshooting process or equipment issues to minimize downtime is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in injection moulding, preferably in automotive or precision plastic components.
