Job Opportunity for Part-Time Lecturers

We are seeking experienced and passionate part-time lecturers to join our team in the College of Engineering, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering – Maritime Studies Undergraduate Programme.

Candidates should have a proven track-record in their area of expertise and be able to conduct lectures and tutorials, prepare teaching materials, administer and grade continuous assessments and exams, and provide student consultation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students
  • Develop and implement effective curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Extensive industry and/or academic experience
  • A passion for teaching and learning
  • Professional certification in maritime aspects (e.g. Master Class 1 COC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
