About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Community Stewardship team as an Associate or Senior Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing community programs that maximize social and environmental outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Catalytic Philanthropy
    • Assess opportunities for catalytic philanthropic capital to drive innovative solutions to address social and environmental challenges
    • Structure the deployment of concessional capital that can unlock additional funding or scale impactful initiatives
  • Impact Measurement & Management
    • Support the implementation of the social impact measurement and management (IMM) framework to evaluate the impact of community programs
    • Collect and analyze data to assess program outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
    • Prepare impact reports to communicate outcomes to stakeholders
  • Programme Development & Management
    • Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of community programs aligned with Temasek's stewardship priorities
    • Manage day-to-day operations of ongoing initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to objectives
  • Research & Analysis
    • Conduct research and analysis on social trends, emerging issues, and best practices in community development, corporate social responsibility, and catalytic philanthropy
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Policy, and International Development or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in community development, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, philanthropic capital deployment, impact management, or related fields
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with social impact measurement and management frameworks and familiarity with related frameworks is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools to translate data into actionable insights
  • Understanding of financial principles to assess innovative funding models
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the social impact and philanthropic landscape in Singapore and the broader Southeast Asian region is preferred
