The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 3–7 years of experience in IC design. Strong proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog, RTL-to-GDSII flow, and EDA tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler, Cadence Genus, PrimeTime, and Innovus is essential. Additionally, hands-on experience with high-performance AI accelerators, NPUs, or custom compute engines, as well as familiarity with on-chip interconnect architectures and low-power design methodologies, are highly valued.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing logic synthesis and design optimization for AI-focused architectures, working with high-speed arithmetic units, conducting Static Timing Analysis (STA) and constraint tuning, and implementing low-power design techniques. You will also collaborate with DFT engineers for scan chain insertion, MBIST for large SRAMs, and JTAG integration, and debug synthesis, timing, and power-related design issues before physical implementation.
You will work closely with backend teams on floorplanning, place & route (P&R), congestion analysis, and timing bottlenecks, providing design constraints for AI-specific architectures. Furthermore, you will ensure synthesized netlist correctness using formal verification tools, and participate in the development of new processes and systems.
