As an Insurance Portfolio Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the smooth execution of insurance renewals, policy administration, and claims handling.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring seamless coordination with internal stakeholders, brokers, and claims managers to drive business growth.
- Developing and implementing risk management strategies to minimize exposure and maximize returns.
- Collaborating with underwriting teams to optimize policy terms and conditions.
- Maintaining accurate premium bookings and adherence to payment deadlines.
- Evaluating claims to ensure alignment with policy terms and conditions.
- Working closely with adjusters, legal counsel, or appointed claims managers throughout the claims process.
- Providing regular reports to senior management based on monthly reporting requirements.
Key qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance or broking; captive insurance experience is highly preferred.
- Professional insurance qualifications such as ACII or ANZIIF are strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in Mandarin for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities, with a proactive and responsible approach.
