In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, brokers, and claims managers to ensure the smooth execution of insurance renewals, policy administration, and claims handling. You will play a key role in supporting group risk management initiatives, ensuring compliance with policy terms, and delivering timely reports to finance and leadership teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage insurance and claims within the captive portfolio.

    Support Group Insurance/Risk Managers in implementing group-wide risk management strategies through the captive.
  • Coordinate with brokers on program renewals and ensure timely finalization of policy documents.
  • Prepare and issue policy documentation and invoices/closings when necessary.
  • Ensure accurate premium bookings and adherence to payment deadlines.
  • Confirm that claims align with policy terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with adjusters, legal counsel, or appointed claims managers throughout the claims process.
  • Coordinate with the servicing team on premium collections, claims reserves, and provisions in accordance with accounting and loss reserving policies.
  • Provide regular reports to Finance Managers based on monthly reporting requirements.
  • Report to the Board of Directors, Underwriting and Claims Committees, and Group Insurance/Risk Managers on insurance and claims matters, and handle their inquiries.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and ensure timely delivery of services in line with agreed guidelines.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance or broking; experience in captive insurance is highly preferred.
  • Professional insurance qualifications such as ACII or ANZIIF are strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin speaking stakeholders (strong written and verbal communication skills required)
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities, with a proactive and responsible approach.
