About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Technology Integration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and integrating new technologies to enhance our business.

Job Description:

The Technology Integration Specialist will be responsible for scouting and evaluating new technologies, developing and implementing technology maturation plans, and maintaining and executing our IP strategy.

You will work closely with our business opportunity team to identify potential value uplift opportunities and support the scale up and implementation of new process technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scout third-party technologies to provide options for potential value uplift
  • Support the scale up and implementation of new process technologies
  • Be an active member of the business opportunity team
  • Provide techno-commercial due diligence to commercial third-party technologies
  • Develop and implement the technology maturation plan
  • Maintain and execute our IP strategy

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in Process Engineering or related engineering qualifications
  • Strong background in process development and scale-ups
  • Strong communication skills able to interface with technical and commercial colleagues
  • Experience in technical project management
  • Operational experience including startups and project implementation
  • Able to communicate and work well in teams
  • Flow sheeting experience and experience using simulation software such as Aspen
  • Solid understanding of Research and Development as well as deployment of novel concepts
  • Experience working on site and working within multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Process safety and safety experience including HAZOP, operating mode assurance reviews and risk management of project execution
  • A minimum of 9 years working in a combination of R&D, technology development and manufacturing roles
