Senior Project Planner Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating complex projects from start to finish.

Job Description:

The Senior Project Planner will oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing project schedules: Create detailed project schedules, including milestones and deadlines, to ensure that projects are delivered on time.
  • Coordinating resources: Manage and coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure that projects are completed efficiently.
  • Monitoring progress: Track and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Providing reports: Prepare and present regular project reports to stakeholders, including project status, progress, and any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborating with teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure that projects are delivered successfully.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive project planning experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and coordination.
  • Proficient in project management tools: Strong knowledge and skills in using project management tools, including Primavera P6 and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently: Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
