Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Chemist to perform routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

This role involves conducting testing of environmental samples, including wastewater, trade effluent, leaching tests of building materials, and suitability tests of water. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring reagents preparation, QA/QC, and test methods comply with ISO 17025 requirements.

  • Conduct testing of environmental samples using wet chemistry methods, HACH, APHA methodologies, ICP, TOC, IC, FTIR, UV_VIS instrumentation.
  • Perform sampling and on-site testing when required.
  • Maintain Lab Safety Management and Chemical Inventory.
  • Ensure chemicals and consumables availability and request replenishment when necessary.
  • Upkeep equipment calibration, maintenance, and verification for lab quality management compliance.
  • Conduct chemical analysis using specialized equipment such as IC, ICPMS, ICPOES, GC-MS.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Analytical course.
  • In-depth understanding of testing concepts.
  • Ability to analyze and compile testing data from performed tests.
  • Proficient in using equipment such as IC, ICPMS, ICPOES, GC-MS.
