Specialty Coffee Expert

We are seeking a skilled barista to join our team as a specialty coffee expert. As a key member of our cafe, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and contributing to the growth of our business.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a passion for coffee and a commitment to excellence in their craft. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing a range of specialty coffee drinks according to established recipes.
- Operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
- Greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions about coffee and menu items, and ensuring a pleasant experience for all.
- Maintaining quality and consistency of the coffee.
- Monitoring brewing processes, adjusting grind size and extraction time as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Familiarity with Australian coffee culture and an understanding of different coffee beans, origins, and roasting techniques.
- Able to multitask; taking orders, preparing beverages, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Commitment to regular shift hours.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred.
- Proficient in latte art creation.
