Over the years, Changi Airport has expanded our digital business footprint with iShopChangi, our eCommerce business unit. Whilst iShopChangi started out as a travel retail marketplace, it is serving both the non-travellers (SG) and travellers segments as part of our dual engine strategy after proving our traction in driving engagement and spend with the non-travellers segment. As part of our long-term strategic interest to diversify and grow new non-traveller sales and revenue, we have set up a new department to focus on this growing customer segment to turbo-charge the growth. As such we are seeking out a new team member to join our growing family to lead the strategic planning and new business development function for the non-travellersegments, which will include iShopChangi and beyond.

You will be an integral member of the Leadership Team for the Non-Traveller Business, reporting into the Category Management & Business Development Head.

You will be responsible to
• (70%) Lead in the scaling of iShopChangi (Non-TravellerBusiness) by leading the category management for Wines & Spirits & Electronics Categories. As a team lead, you will be in charge of business analysis, development of the future growth strategy, planning, prospecting and implementation of new initiatives to expand the customer segments and growth potential beyond the regular tactical sales and marketing initiatives for these two categories; and

• (30%) Lead in the identification or creation of new opportunities beyond iShopChangi to grow Non-Travellers Sales & Revenue beyond the regular. This could involve forging of new collaborations amongst existing businesses within Changi and its subsidiaries or incepting new businesses from scratch. Depending on the business initiatives.

Whilst the strategic planning and incubation of the business idea is largely independently led by yourself, as project moves into implementation, you will be supported by and equally play leadership to a multi-disciplinary team on the execution.

In addition, you will also
• Support the Department Head in developing the mid-term (3-5-Year) strategic growth plan for the Non-TravellerBusiness Department in entirety, end-to-end business planning, market intelligence gathering, annual Budgeting and workplan preparation, and monthly business performance review and management.
This is a both a leadership and execution role as you will be required to be hands-on in the projects and operations. You will have exciting opportunities to grow in a strategic business which is in midst of active expansion and to interface closely with a wide repertoire of stakeholders.

You should possess:
• Strong understanding of the eCommerce space
• An entrepreneurial mind and experience in working in both start-ups and enterprise;

• Strong acumen in sniffing out / creating new business opportunities;
• Exceptional negotiation and collaboration skills;
• Fluency in stakeholder management; and
• Fluency business case analysis, strategy preparation and presentation to senior management.

Requirements:
• Degree Holder with at least 10 - 15 years of mixed experience in Strategic Planning, Business Development & eCommerce
• P&L Management Experience is a must

• Very strong commercial and relationship management abilities
• Very strong Management Presentation Skills, including preparation of Long-Term Business Case and Pitches.
• Good command of English is essential for both written & spoken
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, hands-on and problem-solving attitude
