Legal/Compliance, Vice President

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Refine existing comprehensive compliance framework and program to ensure ongoing adherence to MAS regulations and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Draft board resolutions e.g. for bank account opening, Investment approvals, etc.
- Monitor and review the firm's operations and business practices for compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on compliance-related matters and conduct regular training sessions to ensure a strong compliance culture.
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, and other relevant parties on compliance-related matters.
- Review and update compliance policies and procedures as needed, ensuring they remain current and effective.
- Manage any ad hoc assignments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant compliance experience in Private Equity / Asset Management Companies.
- Legal degree/experience will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of MAS regulations, as well as other applicable laws and regulations governing the financial services industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
