Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5-8 infrastructure engineers to manage and maintain the bank's core infrastructure systems including servers, storage, networking and security
- Oversee infrastructure projects from planning to implementation to ensure business needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Monitor systems health and capacity to support business growth and ensure infrastructure resiliency and capability did not compromise for BAU operation
- Monitor systems performance and ensure infrastructure meets service level agreements and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with application teams for maintenance window and ensure smooth repair operations
- Train and mentor team members to develop skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure engineering with at least 3 years of team leadership experience
- Strong technical skills in servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud technologies and security
- Experience managing mission critical systems and ensuring high service availability
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and people management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
