Deal Sourcing and Portfolio Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities across private equity, venture capital, fund-of-funds, and financial markets.
  • Manage a diverse investment portfolio, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with the firm’s strategic goals.
  • Oversee due diligence, negotiation, and execution processes to secure high-value deals and strategic partnerships.

Board and Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with the Board of Directors and other key stakeholders to provide insights on investment performance, strategy, and market conditions.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to the Board, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and industry leaders.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 15-20 years of relevant experience in investment management, with direct responsibility for Assets Under Management (AUM) in a top-tier venture capital or private equity firm. Proven track record of successful full exits.
  • Extensive experience across private equity and venture capital.
  • Experience in investments related sustainability themes and sectors is highly valued.
  • Must have substantial investment experience in the China market, including an understanding of its unique economic, regulatory, and cultural dynamics.
  • Strong strategic planning, leadership, and business development skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow investment portfolios effectively.
  • A builder and can-do mentality with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities.
