Research & Development cum Quality Control Executive

Position: QC / R&D Executive
QA Responsibilities:
1.Perform physic-chemical test, sensory evaluation and microbiological tests on food products
2.Provide GMP, food hygiene and food safety training to production personnel
3.Perform product shelf life study test.
4.Monitor raw materials, packaging materials, and finished product quality
5.In-charge in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory.
6.In-charge in arranging external calibration and purchasing of consumable items and equipment for laboratory used.
7.Conduct factory inspections to ensure compliance with the food safety system requirements
8.Coordinate with pest control service provider
9.Attends and supports in external food safety audits.
10.Attend to any other ad hoc quality and safety matters
11.Other ad hoc duties assigned by management
R&D Responsibilities:
1.New product development from ingredient sourcing, laboratory trials to commercialization especially in sauces.
2.Improvement of existing products.
3.Conduct sensory evaluation and approval of new or alternative raw materials.
4.Preparation of product costing.
5.Collaborate with marketing department to understand customer needs and requirements.
6.Conceptualize innovative products.
7.Ensure product creation complies with customer and regulatory requirements.
8.Ensure tidiness of the laboratory.
