Job Description
  • Assist the Manager and Head of Department in ensuring smooth running of the day-to-day operations on but not limited to faculty staff matters, seminars, examinations and teaching administration, grant proposals and administration, office workflow, appointments, and general correspondence
  • Provide events and logistical support in coordinating seminars and workshops
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the department and faculty
  • Respond and duly facilitate the faculty's request for admin support in a timely manner
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Department
Qualifications
  • University degree with preferably 2-3 years working experience in office administration, within an education setting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a flair for writing
  • Possess good interpersonal and time management skills
  • Possess a positive learning attitude and willingness to accept responsibilities and challenges
  • Proactive, outgoing, resourceful, results-orientated and meticulous
  • A good team player with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office applications - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc,
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
