Job Description:
Are you passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences through technology Do you have a knack for identifying learning needs and translating them into innovative solutions If so, we're looking for a talented Learning Technology Designer to join our growing team
In this role, you'll report to the CTO and COO, working collaboratively with both to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals. You'll play a key part in developing and implementing cutting-edge learning technologies to empower our teachers and learners. You'll collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and software developers to create impactful learning programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess learning needs and identify opportunities for leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes.
- Conduct research on emerging learning technologies and best practices.
- Design, develop, and implement engaging learning materials using appropriate learning technologies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the learning development life cycle.
- Oversee vendor relationships related to learning technologies.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of learning technologies and authoring tools.
- Ability to conduct user research and analyse learning data to improve program effectiveness.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies.
Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in Instructional Design, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in learning design and development (or at least 3 years experience in a related field).
- Proficiency in Mandarin and Malay (conversational fluency).
- Experience working in an educational environment or the learning & development industry is a plus.
