Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, season, barbecue and grill pork, beef, chicken and other types of meat using hot burner or oven
  • Plan and execute daily production and merchandising of barbecue and grilled items
  • Work with Head Chef to achieve the sales, presentation and customer service goals established for the department
  • Plan and develop meus with Head Chef to expand the barbecue and grilled items
  • Experiment and adapt to new cooking methods and product trends, and to incorporate these methods and trends into new recipes and menus
  • Ensure food standards and presentations are maintained and continuously improved
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of barbeque cooks engaged in food preparation
  • Monitor sanitation practices to ensure compliance in standards and regulations
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company

Requirements:

  • Experience in food manufacturing warehouse is preferred
  • Able to work within tight deadlines
  • 6 days' work week
  • Pleasant personality and team player
